When we think of coaching, we often envision a sports coach passionately raising the morale of their team. However, coaching extends far beyond the realm of sports; it permeates all aspects of life, from business to personal development. The beauty of coaching lies in its adaptability. The nature and method of coaching can change dramatically depending on the situation, the person involved, and the objectives at hand.

Coaching is like a multifaceted gem; each facet represents a different type of coaching, sparkling in its own unique way, offering its own distinctive benefits. But the question is, which facet will shine brightest for you?
If you’re contemplating engaging a coach, it’s paramount to understand the different types of coaching available. Each type of coaching has been designed to cater to specific needs and circumstances. So, let’s delve into this fascinating world of coaching. We will dissect the various types of coaching, elaborating on their unique features, benefits, and suitability.
Before diving into each type, it’s important to remember that the effectiveness of coaching is significantly influenced by the individual’s receptiveness (i.e., openness to change and willingness to act). Therefore, the real question is not about which type of coaching is the best, but rather, which type of coaching is the best for you.
Life Coaching: Achieving Personal Growth and Development
Life Coaching, a burgeoning field with profound implications for personal growth and development, is an optimal choice for those seeking to overcome obstacles, set and achieve goals, and foster self-improvement. As a life coach myself, I can affirmatively state that this type of coaching is not just about improving, but about transforming one’s life from the inside out.
Life Coaching is a comprehensive approach that addresses multiple areas of life. It can cover anything from career aspirations to personal relationships, health goals to spiritual growth. The goal of life coaching – and this is imperative to understand – is to help individuals achieve a balanced, fulfilled life. This often involves identifying and overcoming personal barriers, setting and achieving self-determined goals, and developing strategies to manage life changes.
Life Coaching is about helping individuals to help themselves. It is a journey of self-discovery, self-improvement, and self-fulfillment.
Life Coaching Sub-Types
Life coaching can be further classified into several sub-types, each with its own unique focus and techniques. These include:
- Career Coaching: This type of coaching is meant for individuals who are in a transition phase in their career, whether they are seeking a new job, contemplating a career change, or striving to feel more satisfied in their current career. A career coach can provide guidance, support, and practical strategies to help individuals achieve their career objectives.
- Health and Wellness Coaching: This type of coaching is meant for individuals who are striving to improve their physical health and overall wellness. A health and wellness coach can provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other aspects of health and wellness.
- Relationship Coaching: This type of coaching is designed for individuals who want to improve their relationships, whether they are romantic, familial, or platonic. A relationship coach can provide tools and strategies to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance the overall quality of relationships.
Who Will Benefit?
So, who stands to benefit from life coaching? Here is the straightforward answer: everyone. Life coaching is not just for the rich or the distressed. It’s for anyone who has a vision for their life, but is unsure of how to achieve it. It’s for anyone who feels stuck, lost, or unfulfilled. Also, it’s for anyone who is ready to take their life to the next level of success and happiness.
As a life coach, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals, all of whom saw significant improvements in their lives. They achieved their goals, overcame their obstacles, and learned to live a more fulfilled, balanced life. And what’s more, they gained the tools and insights to continue growing and improving long after our coaching sessions ended.
Above all, life coaching is a partnership. It’s a collaborative process where the coach and the individual work together to uncover the person’s true potential and to create a strategy for achieving their vision of a successful, fulfilling life.
Career Coaching: Navigating Career Transitions and Advancements
As an integral facet of personal and professional development, career coaching cannot be sidelined. This form of coaching is designed to guide individuals through the intricate processes of career transitions, or help pave the way for advancements in their existing careers. It’s an empowering process that seeks to marry an individual’s personal aspirations with practical career paths.
Primarily, career coaching is a two-pronged approach. It assists those engaged in a career transition (whether it’s a shift in industry, role, or returning to work after a hiatus), and it aids those seeking advancement within their current line of work. Career coaching, hence, serves a dual audience with distinct needs.
Undergoing Transitions
For individuals undergoing career transitions, the challenges are multi-layered. They may grapple with the uncertainties of a new industry, struggle to transfer their existing skills to a new role, or face the daunting task of re-entering the workforce after a significant gap. Here, a career coach plays a vital role, providing support and guidance as they navigate unfamiliar territories. Career coaches bring to the table their expert understanding of job markets, industry trends, and transferable skills. More importantly, they bolster the confidence of these transitioning individuals, ensuring they are mentally and emotionally equipped to tackle their new career paths.
Seeking Transitions
On the other hand, for individuals eyeing advancements in their existing careers, a career coach functions as a strategic partner. They assist in identifying areas for growth, setting tangible goals, and crafting practical strategies to achieve them. Career coaches can provide guidance on enhancing communication skills, leadership qualities, and other competencies that are critical for climbing the corporate ladder. They are, in essence, the catalysts that propel these individuals towards achieving their career ambitions.
In essence, a career coach serves as a compass, guiding individuals towards their true north in the vast sea of career options and possibilities.
So, who would benefit most from career coaching?
- Mid-career professionals grappling with career stagnation or seeking new avenues of growth would greatly benefit from this. Career coaches can provide the much-needed perspective and strategic advice to set them on a new trajectory of growth.
- Individuals transitioning careers, especially those moving into entirely new industries or roles, would find the guidance of a career coach invaluable. These professionals can help mitigate the risks and uncertainties associated with such transitions.
- Recent graduates who are uncertain about their career choices can derive significant benefits from career coaching. With their understanding of job markets and industries, career coaches can guide these young aspirants towards careers that align with their skills and passions.
- Individuals returning to work after a significant gap, such as new parents or those who took a career break, would find the support of a career coach immensely helpful. These coaches can provide tactical advice on resume building, interview preparation, and instilling confidence to re-enter the workforce.
Executive Coaching: Enhancing Leadership Skills and Performance
When it comes to the domain of corporate leadership, Executive Coaching plays an indispensable role. A type of intervention that is usually conducted within the context of executive development, its aim extends beyond the simplistic goal of direct performance improvement. It is about shaping and molding those in senior positions to become effective leaders who can influence their environment and drive their organizations towards success.
The Executive Coach, in this case, is often seen as a kind of ‘critical friend’ – someone who won’t shy away from posing challenging questions, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating avenues for introspection and self-awareness. These coaches are typically well-versed in business strategies and organizational dynamics, and they use this knowledge to guide executives in a targeted manner. This may involve setting and achieving career objectives, managing work-life balance, or navigating through complex workplace issues.
“Executive Coaching is about enabling leaders to overcome their own self-imposed limitations, to see beyond the ordinary, and to inspire others to do the same.”

Whom Does Executive Coaching Best Serve
Now, who stands to gain the most from Executive Coaching? As a rule of thumb, it’s those in positions of leadership – CEOs, CFOs, senior managers, and the like. But that’s a rather narrow perspective. In truth, anyone who holds any position of influence within an organization can reap the benefits. This includes team leaders, project managers, and even those who aspire to attain such positions
As an experienced coach myself, I’ve observed that executive coaching is a powerful tool, particularly for those in positions of leadership who aim to enhance their skills and performance. This form of coaching revolves around facilitating a leader’s potential to maximize their own performance and that of their organization. It’s critical to understand that executive coaching is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but rather a tailored approach that aligns with an individual’s unique needs and ambitions.
Executive coaching often encompasses the exploration of leadership style, the development of strategic thinking, and the creation of a balanced work-life dynamic. By fostering self-awareness and encouraging self-reflection, executive coaches can help leaders gain new perspectives, and inspire them to create and enact meaningful change within their organizations.
Who can benefit from executive coaching?
While it’s often thought that executive coaching is reserved for senior-level executives, it can actually be of tremendous benefit to a wide range of professionals. More specifically, the following categories of individuals can significantly benefit:
- Emerging Leaders: Those who are set to assume leadership roles can greatly benefit from executive coaching. It aids in fostering self-confidence, improving decision-making skills, and refining leadership style.
- Senior Executives: For those already in senior positions, executive coaching can enhance existing leadership abilities, improve strategic thinking, and promote effective communication.
- Entrepreneurs: Entrepreneurs, particularly those leading start-ups, can gain from executive coaching by learning to effectively manage teams, navigate business challenges, and drive business growth.
Executive coaching can also be beneficial for individuals who are facing significant career transitions, experiencing leadership challenges, or looking to develop new skills and competencies. It’s about pushing one’s boundaries to reach new heights and achieve remarkable milestones in one’s career.
Remember, the goal of executive coaching is not to mold individuals into a predefined image of a “perfect leader”. Rather, it’s about helping each individual realize their own potential and their own unique style of leadership.
Therefore, if you’re looking to enhance your leadership skills, improve your team’s performance, or simply navigate your professional journey with more confidence and clarity, executive coaching could be an excellent option for you.
Business Coaching: Scaling and Growing Your Business
As someone who has devoted a significant portion of my professional life to studying and practicing business coaching, I can confidently state that it’s an invaluable resource for entrepreneurs and business leaders who aspire to scale and grow their enterprises. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to realize that business coaching is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Each business, regardless of its size or industry, has unique needs and goals, which is why it’s essential to understand the different forms of business coaching available.
Types of Business Coaching
Typically, business coaching can be categorized into three main types: executive coaching, leadership coaching, and team coaching.
- Executive Coaching: This form of coaching is designed for high-level executives who are looking to enhance their leadership skills, manage their teams more effectively, and make better strategic decisions. If you’re an executive who is struggling with these areas, engaging an executive coach might be the key to unlocking your full potential.
- Leadership Coaching: While similar to executive coaching, leadership coaching is more broadly focused on developing leadership skills at all levels of an organization. It is ideal for those who are stepping into leadership roles or who want to become more effective leaders.
- Team Coaching: Team coaching is focused on improving the performance of a team as a whole. If your team is facing challenges with collaboration, communication, or performance, a team coach could provide the necessary guidance and support.
Who Would Benefit From Business Coaching?
Without a doubt, any entrepreneur or business leader who is serious about growing their business would benefit from business coaching. However, I believe the greatest beneficiaries would be those who are open to learning, willing to make changes, and committed to achieving their goals. Regardless of your business’s size, stage, or industry, if you’re determined to overcome your challenges and maximize your potential, business coaching can provide the tools and strategies you need.
Note: Despite the numerous benefits of business coaching, it’s important to remember that the outcomes largely depend on the coachee’s willingness to learn, adapt, and implement changes. As a coach, I can provide guidance and support, but the ultimate responsibility for success lies with the coachee.
Business coaching is not simply about providing answers; it’s about facilitating self-discovery and empowering the coachee to find their own solutions. It’s about equipping entrepreneurs and leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to navigate the complexities of business and leadership. Therefore, if you’re considering business coaching, be prepared to challenge your assumptions, confront your weaknesses, and step out of your comfort zone. Because in the end, the reward will be well worth the effort.
Business and Spirituality
Although not currently in effect, I ran a year long program timing new business ventures to the cycles of the moon called Building a Sacred Business. Engaging a monthly group at the time of the new moon, we would do ceremony, setting appropriate intentions for their business. I would analyze each person’s transits or position of the planets in the night sky currently, in comparison with their natal chart. This was highly effective in helping to get their business ventures off the ground and flourishing.
I may start this up again when I’m done settling in with my new home. If you’re interested, contact me.

Health and Wellness Coaching: Improving Your Overall Well-being
As we journey through life, we encounter numerous challenges that can take a toll on our overall health and well-being. It’s in these moments that the value of health and wellness coaching becomes glaringly apparent. This type of coaching focuses on helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals, ranging from weight loss and stress management to improving overall lifestyle habits. Now, it’s important to remember (and I can’t stress this enough), that health and wellness coaches aren’t replacements for medical professionals. However, they do serve as a crucial support system, guiding and encouraging their clients towards healthier choices and behaviors.
Health and wellness coaching is a collaborative process. It’s about working hand-in-hand with the coach to identify health goals, create a plan, and systematically work towards achieving these goals. It’s also worth noting that while health and wellness coaching usually has a physical health focus, there is also significant consideration given to mental and emotional dimensions of health. Therefore, if you’re someone struggling with health-related issues or simply looking to enhance your overall well-being, this type of coaching may be a beneficial avenue for you to explore.
Who Would Benefit from Health and Wellness Coaching?
While the benefits of health and wellness coaching are universal, certain individuals may find this type of coaching particularly useful. Let’s delve into some potential candidates:
- Individuals with Chronic Conditions : Those living with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or obesity, often have to make significant lifestyle changes. A health and wellness coach can guide and support them throughout this process, making the transition smoother and more manageable.
- People Looking to Improve Lifestyle Habits : If you’re aiming to improve your eating habits, incorporate exercise into your routine, or manage stress more effectively, a health and wellness coach can provide the necessary guidance and motivation.
- Individuals Seeking Weight Loss : Losing weight can be a challenging journey. A health and wellness coach can provide support and strategies to help you achieve your weight loss goals in a healthy and sustainable manner.
I firmly believe (and studies support this) that health and wellness coaching can be a powerful tool in the journey towards better health. It’s about recognizing that health isn’t simply the absence of illness, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. Therefore, if you’re seeking to improve your health and wellness, don’t hesitate to consider this coaching approach. Because ultimately, your health is your wealth.
Relationship Coaching: Strengthening Your Personal and Professional Relationships
I firmly believe that one of the most significant aspects of our lives are our relationships – be it personal or professional. They influence our happiness, our stress levels, and even our longevity. But, let’s be honest, maintaining healthy relationships can be challenging, and that’s where relationship coaching comes in. This type of coaching, in my opinion, focuses on strengthening the bond between individuals, helping them understand each other better, address conflicts and build a stronger, more fulfilling connection.
In a personal context, relationship coaching could involve partners, family members, or close friends. The coach (often referred to as a “relationship coach”) aims to identify the root cause of any discord and works collaboratively with the individuals involved to devise strategies for improvement. These might include better communication skills, empathy training, or ways to rebuild trust. The intent is not to take sides but to foster a more balanced, harmonious relationship.
Remember, the goal of relationship coaching is not to ‘fix’ the relationship but to provide the tools and guidance to make it stronger and more resilient.
On the other hand, in a professional context, relationship coaching could involve colleagues, teams, or even a manager and their subordinates. The focus here is on improving the working relationship and fostering a positive, productive work environment. A good professional relationship can lead to better collaboration, increased motivation, and ultimately, improved business outcomes.
Who Would Benefit From Relationship Coaching?
Anyone who is in a relationship or regularly interacts with others could benefit from relationship coaching. However, it may be particularly helpful for those who:
- Are facing a significant struggle or conflict in their personal or professional relationships
- Would like to improve their communication skills
- Desire a more fulfilling relationship with their partner, family members, colleagues, or friends
- Are going through a significant change (like moving, a new job, or starting a family) that could impact their relationships
Ultimately, relationship coaching is about enhancing the quality of our interactions with others. It’s about understanding, empathy, and mutual respect. In my view, everyone could benefit from these lessons, for a harmonious interpersonal environment is the key to personal satisfaction and professional success.
More on Relationships
I like to use astrology before doing relationship counseling and coaching because it shows the landscape of the relationship and the dynamics at play. I can analyze the charts of the couple and verify the truth of the matter as we go along. It is important to have accurate birth date, time and location information for the highest accuracy in the reading. Consider having a compatibility or synastry chart done to help you go much deeper than a traditional counseling session.

Performance coaching, as the name implies, is all about optimizing your performance in a certain field (be it professional, personal, or athletic). It’s a type of coaching that focuses on helping you maximize your potential and achieve your goals. As an expert in this field, I can tell you that performance coaching is a comprehensive approach to personal development that takes into account various aspects of your life, including your aspirations, skills, resources, and constraints.
This approach involves a coach working closely with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, setting clear and achievable goals, developing a plan to reach these goals, and then providing ongoing support and feedback to help you stay on track. The coach uses a variety of techniques to help you improve your performance, including motivational strategies, skill-building exercises, and mental conditioning techniques. With the right performance coach, you can achieve remarkable improvements in your performance and achieve your goals more quickly and efficiently.
Who Would Benefit From Performance Coaching?
Performance coaching can benefit a wide range of individuals, from professionals looking to improve their work performance to athletes wanting to optimize their physical performance. Below are some of the individuals who could particularly benefit from performance coaching:
- Professionals: Whether you’re a business executive, a manager, or a team leader, performance coaching can help you improve your leadership skills, increase your productivity, and achieve your career goals.
- Athletes: Athletes of all levels can benefit from performance coaching to improve their physical performance, mental toughness, and overall athleticism. A performance coach can help an athlete develop effective strategies for overcoming stress, maintaining focus, and staying motivated.
- Students: Performance coaching can help students improve their academic performance, develop effective study habits, and achieve their educational goals. The coach can help identify areas of strength and weakness, develop a personalized study plan, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Overall, performance coaching, with its focus on maximizing potential and achieving goals, can be a valuable tool for anyone looking to improve their performance in any area of their life. If you’re ready to take your performance to the next level and achieve your goals, consider hiring a performance coach. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish with the right guidance and support.
Coaching for Creatives: Igniting Your Creative Spark and Achieving Success
As an artist or creative professional (which includes writers, musicians, actors, designers, and the like), you’re no stranger to the challenges that arise when seeking to turn your passion into a productive career. The world of creativity is vast and multifaceted, offering unlimited possibilities yet fraught with pitfalls. This is where a specialized form of coaching—creativity coaching—comes into play. Unlike many traditional types of coaching, creativity coaching is designed to stoke your creative fires and guide you towards successful self-expression, whether it’s in your professional, personal, or artistic life.
The Benefits of a Creativity Coach
Working with a creativity coach can yield numerous benefits. Let’s delve into these benefits (and who they would be most beneficial for) to help you make an informed decision about whether this type of coaching might be the right fit for your needs.
- Clarifying Your Creative Vision: Creativity coaching can help individuals gain clarity about their artistic goals and the steps they need to take to achieve them. This is particularly beneficial for individuals who are at the beginning of their creative journey or for those who have reached a standstill in their artistic endeavors and need a fresh perspective.
- Overcoming Creative Blocks: All creatives, irrespective of their experience levels, can face periods of stagnation, commonly known as ‘creative blocks’. A creativity coach can equip you with effective strategies to move beyond these obstacles and rekindle your creative spark.
- Developing Resilience: The creative process is often a rollercoaster of highs and lows. Creativity coaching can enhance your resilience, helping you navigate criticism, rejection, and other setbacks. This is especially relevant for professionals in fields where criticism and rejection are commonplace.
- Improving Self-Confidence: Creativity coaching can foster a greater sense of self-confidence, empowering you to take risks and step outside your comfort zone. This is an essential trait for any creative who wishes to push boundaries and create truly unique work.
- Enhancing Productivity: By helping you manage your time, establish a consistent creative routine, and avoid burnout, a creativity coach can significantly boost your productivity. This benefit is especially important for creatives juggling multiple roles or projects.
Creativity Coaching is Best For…
While creativity coaching can be beneficial for everyone, it is particularly suited to individuals who feel stuck or unfulfilled in their creative endeavors, as well as those who wish to take their artistic skills to new heights. If you’re grappling with self-doubt, experiencing creative blocks, or seeking to enhance your creative output, creativity coaching could be the catalyst you need to reignite your creative spark and achieve unprecedented success in your field.
Creativity coaching is about more than just enhancing artistic skills—it’s about fostering self-belief, resilience, and a willingness to take risks. It’s about helping you to become not only a better artist but a better person.
Coaching for Entrepreneurs: Building and Sustaining Successful Ventures
As someone who has dipped their toes into the exciting yet unpredictable world of entrepreneurship, I can tell you firsthand that the journey is not always smooth sailing. But fret not, this is where coaching for entrepreneurs comes into play.
Entrepreneur coaching is a specialized form of coaching that is geared towards individuals who are starting or running their own businesses. It typically involves one-on-one sessions with a coach who has a background in business and entrepreneurship. The coach assists in developing business strategies, managing risks, identifying opportunities, and overcoming challenges that are unique to entrepreneurs. It’s a personalized approach to business development, tailored to the entrepreneur’s specific goals and challenges.
So, Who Benefits?
Now, you may wonder, who exactly could benefit from entrepreneur coaching? Well, let me tell you, it’s not just for newbies. Anyone who is in the throes of entrepreneurship can gain from this type of coaching. Startup founders, small business owners, even seasoned entrepreneurs who want to stay ahead of the game can certainly use this resource to their advantage.
Entrepreneur coaching is not about giving you the answers, it’s about helping you find the answers within yourself.
- Startup Founders: Starting a business is no easy task. It requires not just a great idea, but also the ability to execute it. An entrepreneur coach can provide guidance and support during this critical phase, helping to shape ideas into viable business plans, and assisting in identifying and overcoming potential hurdles.
- Small Business Owners: Running a small business can be overwhelming, with challenges in every corner. A coach can help small business owners streamline operations, improve productivity, and boost profitability. They provide a fresh perspective and offer constructive feedback, enabling owners to make informed decisions.
- Seasoned Entrepreneurs: Even those who have been in business for years can benefit from entrepreneur coaching. The business landscape is constantly evolving, and it’s crucial for entrepreneurs to keep up. A coach can help them stay competitive, identify new trends and opportunities, and continually innovate and grow.
So, whether you’re a fledgling startup founder, a small business owner juggling multiple roles, or a seasoned entrepreneur seeking to stay at the top of your game, entrepreneur coaching might just be the tool you need to build and sustain a successful venture. Remember, success is not just about having the right resources, but knowing how to utilize them effectively.
Spiritual Coaching
In the vast landscape of coaching, a unique and often under-explored area is that of Spiritual Coaching. Spiritual Coaching is not a one-size-fits-all approach; it is rather a deeply personal journey of exploration and self-discovery. It is designed to cater to the individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of themselves, their connection to the universe, and their purpose in life. This type of coaching, while rooted in intangible concepts, has tangible benefits that can transform an individual’s life and perspective.
A Spiritual Coach works primarily with an individual’s spiritual energy, helping them to align it with their life goals. In doing so, they use various tools and techniques (such as meditation, mindfulness, prayer, or energy healing) to assist their clients in overcoming emotional blockages, enhancing their spiritual resilience, and developing a stronger sense of purpose. Despite its name, Spiritual Coaching is not strictly religious; it respects and incorporates the spiritual beliefs and practices that resonate with the individual.
Spiritual coaching is about connecting the dots between your inner world and the outer world, creating a harmonious balance that propels you forward in life.
Who’s it For?
So, who would benefit from Spiritual Coaching? The simple answer is anyone who feels a void, a lack of fulfillment, or a disconnect in their lives. This could manifest as a persistent sense of dissatisfaction, despite achieving societal standards of success (like a good job, a happy family, or financial stability).
- Individuals questioning their purpose or direction in life: Spiritual Coaching helps individuals explore their deeper purpose, establishing a stronger sense of direction and fulfillment.
- Those struggling with emotional turmoil or trauma: Spiritual Coaches can provide tools and techniques to facilitate healing and emotional balance.
- People seeking personal growth and self-improvement: This kind of coaching encourages self-awareness and self-improvement, leading to personal growth and development.
It’s essential to remember that Spiritual Coaching is not an alternative to professional medical or psychological help. Rather, it can serve as a powerful supplement to these services, aiding in overall wellness and personal development.
In conclusion, Spiritual Coaching is a potent tool for individuals seeking to understand their purpose, heal emotional wounds, and foster personal growth. Whether you’re at the crossroads of your career, recovering from a significant life change, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of your existence, Spiritual Coaching could be an enlightening experience that propels you forward.
Ontological Coaching
Ontological coaching, have you heard of it? It might sound like something out of a science fiction novel, but in reality, it’s a powerful approach to coaching that delves into the very essence of our being. Ontology, the philosophical study of being, becomes the focus of this coaching method – hence the name, Ontological Coaching. But what does it entail, and more importantly, who stands to benefit from it?
Ontological coaching, much like peeling back the layers of an onion, delves deeper into our underlying ways of being, observing, and interacting with the world. It doesn’t merely look at how we can change our actions or behaviors on the surface; it seeks to understand and transform the very core of our outlook – our way of being.
Ontological coaching engages the whole person, not just the mind, but also the emotions, the body, and the spirit.
This type of coaching is not for the faint-hearted. It demands a willingness to reflect deeply and confront the fundamental aspects of one’s existence. But, who might find this approach beneficial?
- Leaders: Those in leadership positions, who need a coherent sense of self and a deep understanding of their impact on others, will find ontological coaching invaluable.
- Change seekers: Individuals seeking significant life changes, whether personal or professional, will benefit from this coaching style’s depth and profundity.
- Self-Explorers: Ontological coaching is also fitting for those on a journey of self-discovery, who wish to explore their existence and find their authentic selves.
Ontological coaching is not a quick fix or a band-aid solution. It’s a transformative journey that requires commitment and courage. And for those who embark on it, the results can be incredibly rewarding. If you’re ready to challenge your worldview, if you’re prepared to delve into the depths of your being, then ontological coaching may just be the powerful tool you’ve been seeking.
In Conclusion
I consider myself an ontological coach as the question of being is forefront in my mind when I’m helping my clients. In spite of not being an expert in any particular area of coaching, I don’t consider myself an expert with people. I find that no matter what you’re trying to achieve in your life, at the core are the same challenges that every human faces, overcoming fear, finding the best mindset, bringing clarity to confusion, developing a strategy, overcoming inertia, and determining the best and most affective direction to channel one’s efforts.
